Urban Planner. Graduated in Planning & Policies for cities, environment and landscape at the Università Iuav di Venezia. During her Ph.D. course in Risk and Environmental, Territorial and Building Development at the Polytechnic University of Bari she carries out a research period at the University of Thessaly (Volos, Greece) and obtains the Ph.D. degree in 2020 with the thesis entitled “Investigating experiential knowledge for Integrated Coastal Zone Management in the Mediterranean“. She is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Civil, Environmental, Land, Building Engineering and Chemistry (DICATECh) of the Polytechnic University of Bari in Urban Planning and Technique. Her main research interests focus on the planning of coastal areas and coastal erosion risk management with a focus on risk perception by policy makers, stakeholders and local societies. She is part of the research group of the Italian Coastal Landscapes Observatory where she is in charge of communication and scientific secretariat of several initiatives.
