Valentina Ciuffreda
Architect – Ph.D student

Architect and Ph.D student at the Department of Architecture of the “Gabriele d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara. At the same university she obtained a master degree in Architecture in 2017, with a thesis on “River contract and urban regeneration of the Alento-Foro basin”, awarded in 2018 by Ministry of the Environment and published in “BikeFlu. Atlas of River Contracts in Abruzzo”, edited by Massimo Angrilli. She expands her knowledge on the subject with a research grant in 2019, and since the same year she has been tutor and subject expert on Urban Planning teaching. Since 2018 she has been a member of the Landscape Commission of the OAPPC of Foggia. From 2021 she has joined the Board of Directors of INU Abruzzo and Molise. She represent the DdA of Pescara, in the university section, at La Biennale di Venezia 2021, in the Cities and Environment Matter project. She takes part in the “Mediterranean Urban Design & Regeneration” project in the Italian Pavilion of Expo Dubai 2020 as a member of the DdA delegation.
