Lia Fedele
Architect – Ph.D student, O.P.C.I. Research member

Lia Fedele is an architect, graduated with honors in 2020 from Department of Architecture in Pescara. The thesis work has been made as a result of a partnership with the Faculty of Architecture of Ljubljana and activities of international mobility carried out there. In 2018 she has taken part to the Architectural Seminar Villard, designing on Alcamo Marina coastal landscape. The regeneration project designed with other students of the faculty has been awarded with an honorable mention. Since summer 2020 she is a research group’s member for Italian Coastal Landscape Observatory (O.P.C.I. by Legambiente). Currently she is Ph.D. student in Science and technology for sustainable development from the University G. d’Annunzio Chieti – Pescara. The research addresses the setting of an integrated and interdisciplinary methodology about values and critical issues around coastal areas. It aims to deepen further the interface conditions’ coasts relating to near metropolitan settlements, recognizing the ecotonal coastal feature.
